Why Pilates can be the Perfect Exercise if you have Scoliosis.

If you are one of the many people with scoliosis, you know that not all exercises are equal for strengthening, stretching and balancing your body. Do you have chronic neck pain, limited range of movement in your neck, fused cervical vertebrae or other neck issues? The Pilates Method of exercise may be the perfect form of exercise for you.

Your instructor’s corrections and cues are meant to help you fine tune your own practice, stay safe and get the most out of each exercise. Sometimes—especially if you are just starting off—the helpful advice can be a little overwhelming.

A common question I hear is: “Am I doing it right?”
